The oils of soybeans make soy wax which is a vegetable wax. Soy wax is natural, biodegradable, and renewable. Oil is extracted from the soy flakes and hydrogenated. The hydrogenation process converts some of the fatty acids in the oil from unsaturated to saturated. Our candles are made with premium soy blend wax free of herbicides, pesticides and genetically modified material.
No Phthalates
(THAL-ates) are chemicals that contain plastic soft and flexible. These particles can be founds in cosmetics and personal care products, from perfume, nail polish, and hair spray to soap, shampoo, and skin moisturizers, medical tubing and fluid bags, wood finishes, detergents, adhesives, plastic plumbing pipes, lubricants, solvents, insecticides, building materials, and vinyl flooring etc. Research has cited phthalates have shown them linked to various health risks when inhaled, ingested, and/or applied. For many reasons mentioned, we have chosen not to use phthalate in our candles.
What’s the candle burning time of our candles?
Burn time may vary depending how often the candle is being used. Room with a cold draft risk the candle being burned more quickly. You can extend your candles burn time by burning the candles long enough to allow the wax pool to reach the edge. If you do not allow them to burn all the way to the edge of the container when you first burn them, they will begin to tunnel down into the wax instead of melting all the way to the edges. Do not burn your candle more than 4 hours increments. Always trim your wick for successful burn time of your candle. Large Standard Candle – 14 oz: 50-60 hours X-Large Candle – 24 oz: 120-160 hours Tins – 8 oz: up to 40 hours
